CHI E' ANNA DI CICCO

Anna Di Cicco nasce a Portici (NA), si trasferisce a Bologna e poi a Milano, dove consegue gli studi di pittura, quindi a Firenze dove ha origine la sua formazione pittorica. Qui frequenta gli studi di vari artisti e diviene allieva dell'allora ottantenne Alfredo Serri che faceva parte di un gruppo d'artisti chiamato "i Pittori della Realtà", del gruppo faceva parte anche l'artista Pietro Annigoni, suo ottimo amico. Con loro affina la sua tecnica anche se non segue il loro stile.
Con le sue  opere Anna Di Cicco ha esposto in collettive e personali: Bologna Circolo dell'Esagono, Pisa Galleria il Navicello, Milano Galleria Le firme, Bormio Baita Clementi, Firenze Galleria Il Cenacolo, Brindisi Circolo Marina Militare, Crtina D'Ampezzo Galleria Bellevon, ecc...
Le sue opere sono presenti in collezioni private e pubbliche in Italia e all'estero.
Solo dopo l'alluvione di Firenze, iniziala riproduzione di opere che andavano in restauro quindi non visibili al pubblico e si sofferma a riprodurre quadri del 600.
Questo periodo la  affascina ed ecco che ne studia gli autori e quante più opere può, mette in pratica  la tecnica, lo studio del colore, l'impaginazione e tutte quelle regole che formavano i "pittori della relatà".
Anna di Cicco inizia a questo punto  a lavorare per un mercante d'arte fiorentino che esporta opere riprodotte in tutto il mondo e così alterno la sua pittura alla riproduzione d'arte.

Anna Di Cicco was born in Portici, Naples, and later moved from Bologna to Milan, where she received an art degree, before moving to Florence. Here she started her painting training, attending different artist studios and after a while she became the apprentice of Alfredo Serri. This artist, who  was 80 years old at the time, was a member of the movement called “I Pittori della realta”.
One famous member of this movement was the artist Pietro Annigoni, who was best friend of Alfredo Serri.
Anna Di Cicco improved her techniques while she was with them although she did not follow their style. She exhibited her works of art in collective and individual exhibitions: Bologna Circolo dell’Esagono, Pisa Galleria il Navicello, Milano Galleria Le Firme, Bormio Baita Clementi, Firenze Galleria Il Cenacolo, Brindisi Circolo Marina Militare, Cortina D’Ampezzo Galleria Bellevon, ecc.
Collectives: Vergato, Firenze, Marina di Ravenna, Teramo, Nardo’, Milano, Torino, Roma, Catania, Padova, Treviso, Trento, ecc, ecc.
Her works of art are still in private and public exhibitions, in Italy as well as abroad in Europe and in the U.S.A.
After the Florence flood, Anna Di Cicco started to reproduce the works of art which needed to be restored as such they were not available to be seen by visitors to the gallery, until after she had completed the reproduction work.
She focused her attention on the works of art made in the 1600s– 1700s. This period fascinated her so much that she decided to study the authors of this historical period as much as she could as well as their works of art.
During this period of her life she began to work for an art dealer from Florence who exported her pieces around the world. Since then she has divided her time between her own painting and the reproductions.
